Flame Retardant Temporary Protection Materials:

A client approached us who is the market leader in temporary protection in the UK to the construction industry. They were interested in expanding their business into the marine sector.

We took the mandate on and within one year, our client had contracts in place with naval dockyards in the UK and a distribution network covering the entire world, as well as many shipyards and owners having specified their products worldwide.

Where specific products were not up to specification for the marine industry, we advised on how to optimize the specifications. We also sourced new products to add to their portfolio and assisted in testing products to the IMO specifications needed at independent testing houses.

Cap Projects established the link between our client, their new customers and their new suppliers. We have agreed to a long term partnership and will continue to work with our client to further consolidate their market position and to grow their business.

Marine Upholstery:

A client who is a leading converter and designer of innovative marine upholstery fabrics, based in Italy, asked us to promote their products in the rest of the world and set up a distribution network.

Within one year they were specified by leading production boat manufacturers in the UK, Germany, Holland, France, the USA and as far afield as South-Africa. In one instance one of the top five powerboat manufacturers in the world went as far as specifying the fabrics as standard on all their vessels.

A lot of the fabrics are also currently being used on mega yachts where they were specified by some of the leading interior designers in the world, who we work closely with.

Tank Cleaning & Gas Freeing Equipment:

We were aproached by a UK manufacturer of tank cleaning and gas freeing equipment to assist them in developing their business further.

Within one year we managed to have their products specified on a leading petroleum company's entire fleet of vessels. We also asissted them in signing long term supply contracts for new builds with various shipyards in the Far East.
